Started this post in the MDT but it got away from me a bit so thought I'd stick it in here One of arsenal's big problems that I, as a stupid guy who doesn't watch arsenal, can see is that the problems that have been there since the Wenger era are just baked in there at this point. Different situation but it's like with Sunderland where they've churned through a load of experienced managers but none of them had enough clout or personality to be able to get rid of this culture of complacency. Like who's going to arsenal because they want to learn from Mikel arteta or get the chance to play in front of the quietest most miserable fans in the league. Again it's a stupid football fan thing to say but they went a goal down against Chelsea and it was just sort of shrugging the shoulders. You need a manager who's willing to drop underperforming players and tell them in no uncertain terms that losing is bad, actually. A lot of people seem to fancy hasenhuttl as the next manager (maybe not now after how he finished last season) but you want more than that surely since he's still finding his managerial style as well. He'd have to have absolute rocks in his head to take it but you'd love to see what simeone would do there. Arsenal posters who would you like to see in that big managers chair
