back when I lived in OTtawa, I had a great "wow this is what post car living could be like" when I biked to amateur wrestling, drank lots of beer, then biked to the LRT which took me close enough to my house that the drunk bike home was 0% dangerous since then the LRT was revealed to have square wheels and not to function in the snow and cold (and also the tunnels flood and smell like trash)
