I mean I want to be empathetic to Trubisky but dude, you sucked rear end and never got even a little bit better, I dunno how passive aggressive you're allowed to get, here.

No offense to Lions fans but how can yall be excited about this year? You have a worse QB and your WR room is a disaster
Not a Lions fan but genuinely excited to see how Dan Campbell does in Detroit. Even if the Lions are bad, I think it'll be a fresh, fun bad, not the hopeless incompetence of Matt Patricia. The only thing stopping me from jumping on the bandwagon completely is that I can't stand Jared Goff. I don't have a clear reason, I just dislike him, almost as much as Kirk Cousins (who provides lots of reasons to hate him). It doesn't help that I thought Matt Stafford was cool and good, and now he's gone. But that's not Goff's fault, he's just a stopgap until they can get a QB of the future.

Trubisky is just the latest in a long and terrible legacy of players failed by the Bears organization.

I still believe in the NVP. :swoon:

I have no idea which lions fans that poster is referring to who think the team is going to win this year, but having an actual fun coach is a nice change of pace, and we may have fun football even during a loss. Fairly certain the expectation is between 4-6 wins and we just wanna see some trends in the right direction.

I don’t think your going to have a fun team but that’s more because Goff is bad in a very tedious way more than anything

Joe Buck has improved a bunch since the “disgusting act” call and the helmet catch non call. If they could pair him with someone that isn’t Troy Aikman it could be a pretty good booth.

Joe Buck has been actively great at his job for like, at least 5 years now and people still complaining about him are more tedious than his commentary ever was, even at its worst.

I will say that Joe Buck sucks at hosting Jeopardy though. He's way too loud, mispronounces words, and has an awful cadence.

hard agree but people hate to admit that others can improve or change because then it makes them look bad retroactively I guess

I mean, remaining even remotely listenable in a booth with Troy Aikman is a superhuman feat. I don’t really remember Buck being particularly good or bad last year. All I remember is Aikman being the worst.
