I live on a bay and man oh man can you clean up with a tug boat. If a boat breaks down and you gotta get it tugged, the bill is always thousands and thousands of dollars.

My dad used to be a tug boat captain. Tugged in both the Atlantic, the Pacific, even had a stint in the Caribbean for a bit. Those boats are loving tiny and I am not jealous he lived in one for months at a time.

One of my friends dad had a boat in the Keys and we went to the Bahamas a couple of times. Three cabins, one was a bunk and I always got stuck in there with someone else. Definitely went to "the head" to tug the head a time or two, some genuine open ocean tug boating.

That was a legit eye opening experience for him. And yes, he always mentioned tug boats. Didn't mean he wasn't proud of his tugging though.
