Tonight is AAA's premier event, Triplemania starting at 8 PM CDT (the pre-show at 7:30 may have a match). In Mexico, this is going to be broadcast on SpaceTV and Facebook, everywhere else AAA can't broadcast it for very AAA reasons. Here's a brief summary of the card: Marvel Lucha Libre match: Team Leyenda Americana vs. Team Terror Púrpura - I have no idea who will be in this match because they keep changing who are behind the masks Copa Bardahl Triplemanía - battle royale with only Mamba, Drago, and Mr. Iguana announced Faby Apache (AAA) vs. Deonna Purrazzo (Impact) - Title against title match, Purrazzo will probably win because AAA does not care about it's belts Los Lucha Bros (Fénix and Pentagón Jr.) (c) vs. Jinetes del Aire (Hijo del Vikingo and Laredo Kid) vs. Taurus and TBA - Tag titles match, neither of the challengers are an actual team, Fenix is barely in AAA and Pentagon Jr has a few matches because he lives in Mexico City. AAA does not care about it's belts Team AAA (Pagano, Chessman, and Murder Clown) vs. La Empresa (Puma King, Sam Adonis, and DMT Azul) - La Empresa is a CMLL invasion angle and Pagano and Chessman hate each other, so AAA imploding in the ring is guaranteed and there will be some sick bumps taken Kenny Omega (c) vs. Andrade "El Ídolo" - AAA Mega Championship match, Andrade hasn't wrestled in AAA and Kenny's last match was Triplemania last year. AAA does not care about it's belts Psycho Clown vs. Rey Escorpión - Mask vs Hair, and probably the best match of the night, Psycho Clown and Rey Escorpion have been fighting each other at home, at restaurants, Escorpion tried to drown Psycho Clown and this feud goes way back to when Escorpion took Super Porky's (Psycho Clown's recently deceased father) hair Triplemania is always fun, always chaotic, and always too long because everyone gets a massive walk up. Hijo del Tirantes will ref at least 1 of the championship matches (probably Faby/Purrazzo) and be the giant rudo he normally is. I haven’t really been following AAA at all this year, but that doesn’t seem to matter for this show and Triplemania is always a blast. Sadly, no trainwreck English commentary this year.

yeah the EST timing here is like 9pm triplemania 10:30pm tjpw (first match probably like 10:45, tournament final probably not until like 12:15 at the earliest?) 11pm resurgence dunno about the dragon gate stuff; my plan for resurgence (assuming they stick to the posted card order which who knows) is to tune in as soon triplemania ends and hope thats in time to see the mox tag which i think is third, and i'll probably just skip the tjpw undercard but the final matters to me more than anything on njpw so will flip over for that
