what sort of brain worms are writhing around inside the minds of all these unbelievably stupid people who see a working solution and immediately think "that is working too well, we need to make it worse for some inexplicable reason." it's like value engineering but for a loving pandemic. completely putting out the fire is very wasteful, lets just put out like 90% of the fire and then save the rest of the water for other fires (or maybe we can sell it). oh no the house is on fire again!? well then this is all impossible, everything is impossible
