WWE has one main event guy on their entire roster. AEW could have one in every match on every card against a younger guy who needs the exposure. And they usually do.

God that was a wonderful show. The pop for Punk and the effortless way he just slotted right back into pro-wrestling was a sight to behold. The ice-cream callback was insane.

I'm rewatching on the TSN feed. He (indirectly) apologized to Colt on air. The pipe-bomb callback. I know AEW has an (unfair in my oppinion) reputation for overpromising and underdelivering. But that segment was amazing.

I have to admit, I was a little dubious when rumours first started about Punk’s return. The closer I got to today’s Rampage, the more that wore off. Now, CM Punk is back. He’s happy, and he’s healthy. AEW is so good.

y'all i wanna call that a once a decade wrestling moment but we still have loving dragon at grand slam to freak the gently caress out over so i don't even know anymore with this company. just happy to have been along for the ride so far and stoked to see where the next year takes this amazing promotion.
