Evidently someone on the staff did want to make a big deal out of it, since I never talked to Bees about it and they never had any reason to be made involved or have their thread removed. I didn't think DMing a mod asking for a rule stating no tolerance for sexual depictions of minors was going to 'terrorize LGBT spaces on the forum', yet here we are. I don't know if this is because the mod I spoke to decided to mischaracterize the events, or you're doing it intentionally because of posting grudges, but the entire point of sending a DM to a mod instead of an admin or making a report was to avoid making a scene. But gaslighting is something very specific and incredibly vile, damaging to people for the rest of their lives and calling a petty forum disagreement anything remotely close to that is a loving insult to anyone who's gone through that.
