so so relieved that people are enjoying dread. I've been waiting so long for a metroid-like that I actually like, castlevanias are good but really not the same vibe, I thought axiom verge sucked rear end and hollow knight bored me to tears. I still can't believe we're getting a new 2D metroid and it's coming in like 2 days

that shinespark turned out to be pretty easy once I found out on accident that you can instant spark out of a spin jump by pressing shoot and jump at the same time, the first one is still pretty tight but the second is pretty lenient since you can hit the ground and jump at it instead of trying to time it while falling
