I was lamenting the cgi and terrible art before this came out but it's so much fun I don't care, and honestly the cgi is pretty good all things considered! I don't know if there are any animators left in the industry that could animate late-Ishikawa robots in all their intricacy so it isn't like they had much choice. To be honest though the new stuff hasn't engaged me much so I've really fallen behind on this show the last couple of weeks

Yeah, the magazine it was in got cancelled so it ended on a huge cliffhanger and then Ken Ishikawa died a year later. I'm interested to see how, if they evem try, to tie it all together. The final chapter kind of sped things along so they could easily slow it down a little still
