Almost went out drinking tonight. My friend wanted to do a fish fry and he asked me at 5:30pm and I said sure. I asked when and he said he's hungry now. I ask him where he wants to go. He wanted to go to a new place but he drove by and it's still too packed. I suggest a place and he says he doesn't want to go there. I ask him where he wants to go again. He doesn't get back to me. I ask him what's going on and he said he stopped at a bar for a drink... almost 2 hours later. He asked if I still wanted to go so I said no. I'm cooking and eating at home. Dodged a bullet there!

To be honest, had he gotten back to me right away I was going to do it. But I really don't feel like getting drunk so I don't know how many beers I would have had. The only problem is that when I get home I usually want to keep going. I'm glad it worked out this way.

Oooo, I'm going to turn on Kingdom of Heaven director's cut while playing. I always do that when it's late and I'm playing games. I turn on something along the same theme. KoH didn't do well but I absolutely love that movie. The director's cut is amazing. Albeit, a bit long. edit: eh, 3 hours. It'll be done before 2am if I don't pause it a ton, which I will. edit 2: here's penny sleeping on one of my guitars last night

A nightly thing for me has been getting ripped rear end stoned, booting up Balatro with the sound and music off, and just listening to random rear end albums I haven't heard before. And I gotta be real, I've heard a lot of Whitney Houston songs on their own before (obvs), but the soundtrack to The Bodyguard is good as poo poo man. Listened to the whole thing in one go during some Balateeznus tn and it's just one bomb rear end song after another. My favorite is Even If My Heart Would Break cuz Aaron Neville has prob the most beautiful voice I've ever heard from a man - so drat smooth.
