Sometimes a poster will refer to themselves with male or female pronouns. You gotta be careful to take into account when in the poster's life they're relating though as they may have changed genders since then. This is usually too much effort, I mentally categorize posters as "self-deprecating millennial" with gender as "???, but very possibly trans tho". As a dude I am automatically categorized as "overweight IT nerd with no social life" which is not a full description but not really wrong either
