You're missing a whole middle-aged - elderly female demography here - class and location irrelevant - whose hearts have a little pitter patter "Take me, Dzjames, take me" at a masterful man, especially when he actually did a woman older than him in whichever one Monica Bellucci was in* for all of 5 minutes but all the women's magazines had articles about Bond and the Older Woman in them. What I would do if I were you is ask around on local facebook groups for any recommendations. I don't know the cost sorry but if you were going to hire a container and transport it I don't think it would be much difference in price. Obviously cost of a removal firm will depend on how far you're going and exactly what service they provide - some will do your packing for you too. May I recommend hiring crates to pack rather than trying to construct and stick up a billion cardboard boxes? Having had to stick loads of cardboard boxes together for my late father, I was blowed if I was doing that again. So I rented crates when I moved. Also, if something goes wrong on moving day with the completion then your stuff can go into storage in the crates. I rented crates for 8 weeks initially and returned them after about 5 or 6 weeks when I had finished unpacking them and got a bit of a rebate. I got my crates from here: https://www.cratehire-uk.co.uk/rent-a-crate/

I think the time has come for all good citizens to acquire a discreet bodycam so any interactions with police persons can be recorded unobtrusively. I totally get many people will be frightened to get involved lest they themselves get body slammed to the ground, necks knelt on, tasered 10x more than a human heart can stand etc. Anyone know anything about bodycams? I remember being about 5 and having learned that 3+6 was the same as 6+3 misapplied it to money and said to my dad: 3/6 (3 shillings and 6d) is the same as 6/3 (6 shillings and 3d) isn't it dad - erm no.

I put 100g in a sieve and rinsed it off with cold water, then tipped that into a pyrex bowl. Boiled it up (10mins on full power 800W microwve) then tipped the excess water back into the sieve. Job done. It is now cooking in the microwave along with some frozen mixed veg, 2 eggs and 50g frozen minced beef. (I just had a 2 hour zoom call this evening so I need sustenance). Seems the forums are no longer readable unless you sign in. My weekends policy was not to sign in and to read on an old ipad so (a) I wouldn't get drawn in to commenting but would not be faced with 350 posts to read on a Monday which would either be something politically big happened or a lengthy discussion on potato-based snacks, (b) would not have to put the main laptop on and thereby get sucked in to facebook, messenger, doing a bit of bank reconciliations for work, reading all the papers I can 'for free' dodging between browsers and different email signins to max out the freebies.

Linked In messaging still seems to be working if you need to contact someone who you are networked with on there. This reminds me of when the internet got taken down in Egypt during the 2011 revolution. We were chasing around on proxies for several hours with the security services minutes behind us. Then they just pulled the plug on the DNS tables. That was that. Be interesting if anyone has the IP address for Facebook to see if you can still get it directly? We managed to do that in the revolution just enough to get a message on but then certain tv channels were posting the IP addresses regularly.
