No no, you see he was taken out to context in this clip, he just meant that anti-fracking protestors should be stamped on without mercy, it's not a race thing!

It was really heavily reported that he did, and I think the eventual conclusion was that it was one of the police who jumped the barrier and everybody "accidentally" got the story wrong .
See also witnesses being absolutely sure they saw him in an unseasonably warm bulky jacket and carrying a box or having wires coming out of his clothes, when nothing of the kind was actually true.

edit: oh, beaten by twisto

Big lol that the Beeb's reward for years of groveling and tacking to the right is to be at the mercy of Nadine Dorries, who's such an unthinking true believer in culture war poo poo that she can't ever be appeased.

Lol, this is shaping up to be an even shitter Christmas than last year. Everyone gets to huddle together for warmth because the heating is too expensive, pick over whatever scraps are left in the cupboard and repackage old tat from around the house in lieu of actual presents.

The absolute weasel phrasing through this whole article, 'concerns raised' about how 'public bodies across the UK been captured by the lobby group', claims that employees were afraid to speak out about Stonewall that are literally 'an ex-reporter said that she thought there were probably people who were afraid, in her opinion', and an 18 month investigation that turned up damning evidence such as:

quote:

For three consecutive years, the lobby group asked Ofcom to show evidence of work they had done to "promote LGBT equality in the wider community". Ofcom cited examples of action they had taken in response to complaints about TV programmes including Harry Hill's TV Burp and local radio stations.

In 2019, Ofcom told Stonewall "we have ruled on two instances where transphobic comments made in programmes breached the code". One such case referred to a radio presenter who said he would be uncomfortable with his six-year-old daughter changing in an environment where the changing rooms were not segregated based on sex, and described a "transfeminine person" as "him, her, him, it" - for which he had apologised on air.

The motive could really be anything at this point. The guy who attacked that Lib Dem MP back in the Blair years and hacked his assistant to death with a katana did it because he thought they were part of 'a conspiracy between Cheltenham council and Lloyds TSB of which he was the victim'.

Yeah regardless of anything else, I don't think we've had an MP murdered for non-Ireland reasons since the pre-modern era, certainly not in living memory. Two in five years is... probably not a sign of a good direction.

Millions died and entire cultures were forcibly destroyed, but 75 to 100 people were employed as circus performers, so it's impossible to say whether they were treated badly or not. (AQA is withdrawing the book, apparently.)
