The "large condoms are just a scam" thing is mad stupid because 1. They literally cost the same as regular sized most of the time. 2. It's unsafe to use improperly sized condoms since they can break and negate the point of using them. The weirdest part about all this is that the people who say this blatantly wrong poo poo the most from my experience are women who don't have dicks and thus - just like men who often are totally incompetent at understanding women's anatomy - end up pushing actively harmful poo poo because you need to have a properly fitting condom. That lovely viral post that went around a few years ago where some chick took a condom and stretched it over her leg going "LOOK IT FITS" basically just caused this belief to go into overdrive. Not only is having a condom too small incredibly uncomfortable, but I can't repeat this enough, it is unsafe. Stop saying that dumb poo poo ffs. This is a PSA.

Trojan lists it at for 5 inch circumference and up but realistically it's more like 5.5. If you're over 5.5 inches in girth and you're using a regular condom then the chances are far more likely it will break during sex or it'll strangle the gently caress out of your dick. I've had regular sized condoms break on me several times. I use the XL sized ones because I don't want babies or STDs. Any decent quality sex education factors in the right fit. You wouldn't use a condom too large so don't use one too small.
