Just got back from vacation and as soon as I finish some work on the Jeep, I'm going to figure out what the hell to do with that stupid Intex pool.

Then, between the Triumph and the green kid's dune buggy, you can see the haul from the latest dreaded "Hey, Kirk. Your mom and I have some stuff from the attic/garage you probably want (I don't) and you can sell what you don't want"-phone call that includes a cast (aluminum?) International peddle tractor from the 70s, a stack of shop manuals for 50s to 80s cars, and a late 80s Schwinn kid's mountain bike that was my brother's. Always a great time.

I was just parking two of the vehicles in here before vacation....

Is that a KillBoy picture I see hanging?

Good eye! It's the Triumph Daytona back in 2008 when it had the fairings on it. They're in the attic now and it spends its days pretending to be a Speed Triple.

Nice. I rode a friend's Daytona and it was a just a bit too small for a my 6'1" self. Loved the sound though.

How often do you make it back to The Dragon?

Unfortunately, just the once. My brother and I did just over 2700 miles in 8 days that included riding from IN to OH, WV, and MD, DE and then south to the Chesapeake Bay Tunnel Bridge and on to the Blue Ridge Pkwy, the Cherohala Skyway, and the dragon. The route was kind of botched because two guys bailed at the last minute and we cut out a couple days that included Atlantic City and patched the GPS track without completely redoing it in the little time we had.

Between getting married, kids, etc. sometimes it's hard to find 6-8 hours to get a good day ride in, but hopefully I'll make it back there someday.

Keeping with the theme of the thread, this is from the day we left for that trip out in front of my old open garage door. The blue ninja from the other pic is just inside the door in it's as-purchased state back in 2008. My wife's old Suzuki GS550 is sitting next to it but you can only see the handlebars.

Nice speedtona! I had an 04 Daytona. Worst bike I ever owned

Lol...I bought this new in 2000 and someone will have to pry it from my cold, dead hands...unless I find a killer deal on a white KTM RC8 and that might finally do it.
