Big Beef City posted:This is a really bold and stunning stance you've chosen and we're all standing here with tears in our eyes because of how proud of you we are for this forward thinking statement. May God cradle you in his arms. You're literally the worst poster on SA. You've already insulted my avatar before, so don't even bother with that low hanging fruit. You're needlessly aggro in every thread you post in.

Facebook Aunt posted:Even if it is true would it matter? Armor is a job because one person is supposed to be responsible for checking that every gun is handled and loaded properly. Apparently the dummy rounds have a small hole normal rounds don't have, something that can be checked with a quick visual inspection. "This box should only contain dummy rounds" isn't an excuse to not do that quick visual inspection. That was my thought as well. If I'm the safety inspector at my job and I'm just pencil whipping the checklists, "someone sabotaged the equipment that I signed off on and didn't actually check" wouldn't be a valid excuse when someone dies.

Rad-daddio posted:This seems like such a paradox. I read a story from a guy who was working as a grip (I think), and he recalled a time where he moved an extension cord that was taped down to the floor, and it stalled production for two hours because the cord had been taped down by a union employee from the set and it had to all be redone and the grip nearly got fired for it. Even in lowly retail jobs, there's serious rules about the use of extension cords. Moving poo poo around that is outside your job title on a movie set is probably a bad idea!
