Per Fightful, W Morrissey's deal expired and he's a free agent I mentioned previously that he'd said in an interview his deal was for a limited time as a tryout and he hoped to prove himself and get a big deal followup to that before its expiration. Evidently that didn't happen They're taped through the end of the year so things could change/he could come crawling back for a lesser offer than he wanted. Otherwise he's done in Impact and WWE, ROH is absolutely not paying him whatever he expects, ditto MLW, and I can't imagine he's on AEW's radar now or in the next few months given everybody whose deal's expiring soon

Yikes, the free agent market right now is definitely not in his favor if Impact possibly passed on the long-term deal. I thought he could be a solid mid-card heel especially if you have someone that's willing to bump his rear end off for his big spots (i.e. Eddie Edwards).
