I haven't seen any of season Flux and I kinda fell off at the end of the previous season. Is it worth catching up? I know RTD is taking back over and I guess that'll happen after the 2022 specials along with a new Doctor.

So for us Americans, the New Year's special is on today at 2:00pm, and is running from 2:00-3:24pm (according to the BBC America schedule)

HOWEVER,

BBC America is ALSO advertising a "Bonus/Extended Edition" that's airing tonight at 8:00pm, and is running from 8:00-10:34pm.

Doesn't the first showing typically air in full and then subsequent ones are cut down? It sounds like the 8pm showing will just also be in full.
