Panthers O line is absolute dogshit. According to those stupid rankings but also just according to one's eyes, they are terrible. Biggest problem with the team easily.

I mean we all saw how Darnold thrived behind the Jets' highly lacking O line, right?

Not saying he's good but the thing they need most of all, for Darnold or PJ Walker, is for the O line to get their heads out of their asses

Tomlin has gone on record saying he wants a veteran qb over a rookie next year.

Also love how upset he gets answering the college coaching question, there are ppl in Pittsburgh who don't like him and they're all idiots.

They're mediocre. Good enough to bully bad offenses, like Chicago, Minn, Hou, Denver. But not good enough to stop great offenses like KC, LAC, and Ari.

he's upset bc the media doesn't take him seriously as a life long NFL coach. you can hear it when he asks about whether Sean Payton or Andy Reid get those questions. they absolutely do not, so why the gently caress does he?

i hate that the Steelers have anyone as cool and good at coaching as Mike Tomlin. stupid loving bucs should've hired him instead of the dozens of other dumbass coaches they had for the last decade

I think he just is tired of being asked whether he's interested in job x or job y. I think because of the money being more, media ppl just assume that NFL coaches are nakedly ambitious parasitic money grubbing shits like every college coach.

Packers haven't really been shooting out at all recently. In fact they haven't even broken 27 points since the start of this month.

Granted they haven't needed to but still. There were even outgained by the hapless WFT.

I'm not saying they aren't capable of doing so because I'm sure they are but recently they've been scoring relatively normal amounts of points and it's been their defense playing quite well.

WFT literally never punted. That's why they got outgained.

They also only managed to score 10 points while going 0/4 in the redzone. Joe Barry is good.

He's been the Steelers coach for 14 years, the 3rd longest tenured active coach. He's won a Super Bowl. He's not even 50 years old yet.

The NFL is the top of the football career pyramid, and he's pretty close to the top of that even. It's insulting to get asked about a rebuild job in minor league football. You don't ask Tony LaRussa about the Toledo Mud Hens vacancy. He has a right to be irritated at this poo poo.

It's kind of a double zinger because maybe Andy Reid and Sean Payton should try out college with how the Chiefs and Saints have been playing recently.

If you thought it was weird that the league went a whole full day without controversy, don't worry, to make up for it Goodell (in one half hour)

a) said an owner getting fined 1/10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000th his worth is punishment enough for heinous accusations

and

b) gave the full greenlight to a Deshaun trade happening

The 5-2 Ravens clearly aren’t going to contend this season, or in any upcoming season, and should start the fire sale now while teams will be interested in buying and perhaps overpay. I’d say send Lamar Jackson to Indianapolis for a 5th round pick and Carson Wentz. Pretty sure the Chargers will give up a 6th for Justin Tucker.

Averett is a free agent after this year and if he keeps playing well we can't bring him back anyway. And we can't make a serious run. So trade him and get something for him from a team that could use a corner. We can just pretend his leg exploded or something except we get a draft pick in return for this one.

The Ravens clearly have no future. Might as well give your 1st and 2nd round picks each of the next two years to the Giants for Jason Garrett, an autographed picture of Jared Lorenzen, and an NFT of Lawrence Taylor doing coke in 1988.

Old Pro-football reference stat that's just another way of having a single number to tell you how a QB performed.

It's: adjusted net yards per passing attempt: (pass yards + 20*(pass TD) - 45*(interceptions thrown) - sack yards)/(passing attempts + sacks).
