Something along the lines of "The hero" being a necessary existence to the natural order of things, or that the Demon Lord (which I'm assuming is also a blessing) and the hero are opposed but also dependent on each other. Another possibility is that there is some demon lord/hero historical cycle that Shisandan believes must be maintained for reasons. My wild guess why is that Asura demons actually do have a blessing, but it doesn't impart abilities. Only impulses to maintain the hero/demon lord status quo.
