Prime Remastered is impossible to get it seems in Boston, MA too. The Brookline Gamestop never received shipment, and other stores like Target and Best Buy either don’t have it, or moved its release date to March. Don’t think I’ll have any luck getting a physical copy anywhere for a while.

I just secured a copy of Metroid Prime Remastered to pick up on March 3 at a Best Buy after many attempts. Every time it was available, it was gone in under a minute. I used the HotStock app to tell me when it was available, and I highly suggest using it, as it may improve your chances.

How does preordering work on Nintendo’s website? I clicked to preorder Tears of the Kingdom, but I was surprised it didn’t ask if it was physical I wanted, or how I’d obtain that. Are preorders always digital on Nintendo’s website?

I got Rain World, and drat is that game brutal, and never thought it would be. You have to find food, and make your way to a chamber before the world floods. It looks you in there for 3 months, and if you did not eat enough food you either starve to death or come out starving. Everything is out to kill you running the entire game world in real time. That is, unless you figure out how to make friends with them.

I try to see it from the developers point of view where they got bored of so many other forms of gameplay, and settled with this, but they may not have considered slowly introducing the player to these things, instead of right away and so harshly. Still, it may be a like a great book that’s hard to understand, unless you give yourself a lot of exposure to it.

Yay! My copy of TotK is being delivered today. I was all bummed out because the GameStop tracking page originally said the 17th, yet on the order page it said it delivers on release day.
