I was so tempted to get a white oled switch this morning but cooler heads and empty wallets prevailed. Plus I know Nintendo and they will for sure release a themed one at some point and maybe by then I'll be more apt to try and find one then.

Have you updated each joycon? That might help with the connectivity issue. And I highly recommend doing a stick replacement yourself, it's cheap (you can get kits on Amazon that come with 4 replacement sticks and all of the tools/replacement screws for like $25) and it takes about an hour to do both, but I get that some people aren't comfortable with that kind of project. I just followed a YouTube of a guy taking them apart and it was really easy and straightforward.

I like turning Nintendo first party game covers around since they all have dope artwork on the inside and I throw them in a box in the closet anyway and keep my carts in a hard snap binder thing I got from Walmart for $15.

Metroid Dread is good even if it took me 45 minutes to get one of those power ups. Kinda wanna go back and replay the previous games in the series but I also kinda want to go back and replay Metroid Prime. What's a nerd to do?!

Two things to know that aren't pointed out in the game, if you boost directly into a slope you will run up it while maintaining your shinespark. And if you're space jumping while in shinespark mode you can cancel the animation by hitting y and then immediately hitting b to activate it so you can boost mid-fall if the timing is correct. You can also speed boost while in morph ball mode.

No, you can build up a shinespark by running, then go into morph ball mode, and then boost as a ball. I apologize for bring unclear in my other post.
