I have never beaten a Final Fantasy game. During the PSX Era, I'd get to disc 3 and then just lose interest. Didn't finish FF 7, 8, 9, or Parasite Eve. I'd go over my friend's house and have him beat them so we could watch the endings.

There's so many games on sale! Right now I'm thinking of getting Lego City Undercover, A Short Hike, and the Castlevania GBA collection. A coworker just got a Switch, so I'm going to give her a store card, too.

Welp, the new update for Dead Cells has been getting stuck on the loading screen between levels for me. I have to close the game from the Home screen and load it up again to continue. The new stuff looks cool from what I found, plz fix.

I've only beaten Nuclear Throne twice, and I always get vaporized on the next part. It's tough going back to Throne sometimes after being spoiled by Hades, but it's a choice between story, or five minutes of NT has it's own depth to it with shortcuts and secrets. It's gonna be a while before I unlock Skeleton. I'm not good with Melting.

Sleep mode is great. A better alternative to my brothers and I leaving the NES on all day and just turning off the tv at lunch and dinner. I did that all the way up to my 360, which might explain why I Red Ringed four of them.

A Metroidvania set in the Overlord anime series is coming to Switch and Steam next year. You play as Clementine, who isn't exactly a nice person. Psycho got what she deserved after what she did in the show. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LpM11LLpj9A It looks SotN enough to check out.

The Switch port of Saints 3 had some issues at launch, with weird rain and sound glitches, but they've been patched up since. Still has some distance draw, but it's not terrible. My experience with Saints 4 is skewed because I first played it on Xbox and it was a buggy mess. I'm down to give it a second go for that sale price though. My nitpicks are that there's 2 scenes you have to do that are instant death if you touch the walls, and they sucked. Cars are useless once you get your powers up, and the game's only recourse is to make you do escort missions in them. It's also missing the best taunt from Saints 3 for whatever reason. "Kneel and suck, punk!" Best Saints games go 2 > 3 > 4 imo.

Arcade action, 4 player co-op with tons of weapons and configurations for your bots. I like it because there's item gambling, and it really scratches that 'Numbers Go Up' itch like Borderlands and Diablo do. The levels can repeat themselves a bit, but you can also dual wield a nuclear missile launcher with a minigun named "The Apocalypse" so maybe it evens out.
