heads up for halo 2: I hadn’t played on insignia for a while and I was having connection issues. I needed to download the newest version of the setup assistant and register my xbox again before anything would work.

Try getting a Rocketball custom match going: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eH7G_8r3nfw Stuff like that is why I despised the rise of matchmaking over custom game browsers.

i feel that so much. when Infinity Ward first fixed the Xbox 360 MW2 servers, there were tons of lobbies full of people with mics and organizing poo poo like games of michael myers, inviting randoms to come play. made a lot of online friends that first couple weeks. not quite the same as a custom game browser but it reminded me why i hate lobbies that disappear after you finish a match
