I got into playing chess during the pandemic boom, but I've kinda cooled off / burnt out during the summer. I'm excited to get back in it with the world championship! I miss ChessNetwork recaps but Levy has now filled that void for me.

Magnus vs Vishy got me into watching competitive chess (and thru some miserable times) so drat. I fully understand his decision though.tanglewood1420 posted:My prediction is that Magnus enters the candidates in 2024 to try and win his title back. It would be funny if he destroys the candidates and just backs out of the championship though.
