What kind of score do you guys get on this? https://lichess.org/training/coordinate I feel good about myself if I get 20+ but I have a feeling that is relatively low. I've been trying to get better at following high level chess analysis but when they start rattling off coordinates I can't keep up.

My objective is to play as slowly as possible and hope my opponents end up skipping a day. If I wanted to play strategy I'd play another rapid or classical game on lichess.

Who wouldn't? My strategy of playing one move a day on the chess.com tournament is paying off. Wild how people who don't want to play 1 day time control sign up for 1 day time control tournaments. I do feel bad for the people who had a decent elo getting it erased by me starting out at 400. I haven't lost and am up to 700 but that is way lower than what I am, so there is more damage to come lol

I'm reading Lawson's book on Morphy (recent edition) and man is this old school notation tough. I tried to play it out to make a guess at what "dis ch" meant but gave up after a while. You apparently had to count Black's rank from their perspective (see move 1)

This is one of those I will never be able to see very far into the future, just play the best available move. (I got it the first time  )Here's one for y'all. This puzzle from this book claims it's white to mate in 68.  I loaded it up in lichess/sf with "run forever" settings. After a very, very long time it still says 0.0 Did I get the pieces/colors right? Is this some "ponder perpetual motion" exercise? A joke?
