The reason that this thread is so quiet is because contrarians need to post their spicy takes in active threads, and thus giving them their own thread proves to be futile It's the same reason that places like Gab or Parler are ghost towns compared to Twitter, it's because contrarians want to use the ostensibly "normal" spaces that everyone else uses, but they don't want to act in good faith like everyone else is
