Yeah, it reads really quick. I think it took me three or four days reading for about an hour each day, and I tend to be a slow reader. Not having any chapters helped, I think; having few "clean" breaks in the narrative prompts one to keep reading, and of course stuff keeps happening to keep the reader invested. I liked the book overall, but I really would have liked to have see more of Death, more of the thieves, and less of the university faculty's wacky hijinks. The latter just takes up way too much space in the narrative without moving it forward much or having a lot of relevance to the main plot.
