I've got The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles on deck after I finish the original trilogy, Life is Strange Remastered, Ninja Turtles, The Somnium Files sequel, that train point & click adventure game revealed last month and a decent backlog of things. Looking forward to games in 2022.

homeless snail posted:I gave in and bought groove coaster wai wai party the other day, the rhythm game that has a bunch of anime songs, vtuber songs, and vocaloid and touhou songs (covered by vtubers). I resisted for awhile because in video it looks like the most basic rear end rhythm game you could play, but I was wrong... dead wrong. this is a game where, a ton of your score especially in the incredibly good online versus mode, comes from hidden notes that you just kinda have to feel out i keep looking for one of those vertical switch grips that let you play it with arcade cabinet screen orientation. ive done this just leaning the switch against the back of my desk or something and it's so hard to go back to the "normal" view lol

Possibly because they announced it with the working title and it was long enough that people just came to know it by that name, and changing just wasn’t worth it by that point. The game looks promising, though, and I wanna play it

Technically the first game of 2022 I played was FFXIV because I was playing it 5 hours before midnight and finished 5 hours after midnight. If that doesn't count, then it was Pokemon Shining Pearl.
