WMOTYC: Jade Cargill vs Ruby Soho, TBS Title Match, AEW: Dynamite 1/5/22 Factoring the booking of the match in my nomination. It's not fair to judge Jade because she has so little experience and the few matches she has to her name are squash matches but yeah this was rough. They made a miscalculation here.

I don't think Seth/Roman deserves a wmotyc. The finish was terrible but I thought the rest was pretty good.

I imagine they're doing the rematch in San Antonio in a couple of weeks. Not good but I wouldn't call it terrible or anything. In fact I'm calling a steel cage match right now

I had a hard time even finding this because of how brief it was. I doubt Miyu's heart rate rose for the match. Not since someone really hyped up Lulu Pencil/ Antonio Honda have I felt completely underwhelmed at watching a recommended match. At least then I was able to stick Chocopro stuff in the "not worth my time" pile but Miyu is actually good so it won't take much to convince me to watch a Miyu match.

Hm for Suzuki/Joe. Can't go MOTYC for it when I've already seen that exact match recently and the Hiromu/Suzuki match was just better.
