 I have memories of watching wrestling from Japan during the Christmas-and-Newyears vacation in the 90s - I think it might've been AJPW that was broadcast here, but it was a local station that also did weird things like Insomniac with Dave Attell a few years later, and I'm not sure they had the rights for any of what they broadcast.

All the same, I remember it very fondly.
