As someone who is new to the podcast and has largely ignored right-wing ghouls, the latest episode with Nick Fuentes was bone-chilling. It was so creepy to hear Alex try to throw out his brand of "America First, no open borders" bigotry/anti-semitism to seeing another guy respond with "right, America first, Jews only care about their own" just to hear Alex seemed to be relieved to not have to hide it anymore and just go "hell yeah, brother." It even ends with Alex seeming like he wants to convert to Islam. Jesus.

That was the thing. I've only recently started listening to KF, and going through the Formulaic Objections Playlist, I've had to hear Alex's same prepared spiels a dozen times. He just rambles and babbles, throwing out a million pieces of bait to see what sticks, meanwhile padding his speech with "not all Jews/Blacks/Muslims" remarks. He almost seemed relieved to get a guy who cut through all of that fluff so that they could just get straight down to a polished core of white supremacy talking points. Seven hundred+ episodes is also a lot. Does anyone have any particular episode recommendations? I've listened to everything from the past few months as well as the Sandy Hook stuff and Dollop guest episodes.

I've kind of wanted to do the same thing with Ben Shapiro's True Allegiance novel, but the problem is that beyond its hideous politics, hackneyed characters, and nonsensical story, True Allegiance is littered with grammar/syntax errors, poor sentence structure, and misused punctuation to the point that a page-by-page entry like this could be the only way to properly tear it down.

I only recently listened to FO for the first time, so I'm down for talking about it. The Halbig letter was so bizarre. I genuinely thought I got an audio error that made Jordan read over the same passages. Daria is also just a monster for that comment. One bugbear in my mind is that I wonder how much different the punishment would have been had Alex and his people just shown actual remorse. Their guilt is undebatable, but I could have possibly imagined punishments equaling less than a billion dollars had their lines been "We're sorry and what we did was awful" Instead of "I didn't kill those kids" or "I think the parents are bad people for not wanting to think their kids are still alive."

Listening to the depositions, I ended up loving Bill and Mark for one of the tricks they would both sue where they would have ask these packets of rapid-fire questions that they must have assumed the KF defendants would easily be able to answer with simple "yes" and "no" responses. I could be wrong, but I assume they added those questions in so that they could draw a comparison with every other answer that amounted to hamfisted attempts at pedantry and skirting around the issue. The Connecticut attorney starting his Alex depo with the "Do you have a photographic memory?" line of question was a funny way of framing what would inevitably be several hours of Alex claiming not to remember anything about Sandy Hook.

Just watched the whole thing. Anger and sadness of course, but some thoughts. -I'd never seen Wolfgang Halbig's face. I wasn't ready for that bloated, decaying monster and his self-assured smile. -I wasn't ready for how infuriating that woman whose name I can't remember was. And the fact that she used True Crime podcasts as her reason for wanting to exhume the children makes me all the more ready to distrust that ghoulish media scene. -I can't really bring myself to watch Info Wars or see any of these peoples' faces, and now finally seeing them on video, I recognize so many of the tricks that I've seen abusers use, namely their mugging expressions, manufactured geniality, and fake laughs. -Out of everything, the one moment that truly infuriated me was seeing the video of Scarlet Lewis (who loving rules by the way) giving Alex the water and cough drops. Alex using it as a moment to sneak thoughts into her head then playing the victim when she was escorted away cemented in my mind that Alex among all of the other awful things you can say about him, is an abuser. I know, because that moment was a distillation of my experiences with much of my family, who were avid Infowarriors up until their deaths and to this very day. -I'm tired of hearing, particularly from fellow leftists, that "de-platforming" doesn't do anything and libs should stop trying to de-platform people like Jones. They didn't have to see the kind of damage that people like Jones can cause on a large scale and how it can affect decent people.
