Glad this epic thread picked up some steam. I have moved most of my stuff to Notion because I somewhat need the project management crap and ability to easily add pics and files and stuff but obsidian is still quite epic. Notion is not as good about being able to instantly link pages and drop new notes I feel. I'm not really using it as much of a wiki as I would like. Anyone successfully using it that way or? But also one big mistake I made when starting my epic NOTION Journey was using toggle embed things when I should have been making everything its own page probably. I will need to fix that while its not so built up.

I've basically fully switched to notion at this point for all productive matters and just use Obsidian for personal journaling.

I basically have a part that is a sort of “command center” if you will for my daily life that has an epic corny pic of a cockpit as the splash background, widgets for weather, clock (from indify.co), and then a column for all the important linked main project pages with a cute emoji next to each. Then there are checkbox columns for TODAY, SHORT TERM, WEEKEND, and LONG TERM that i put tasks in, as well as a shopping list column. Then the main pages are more job specific dashboards for each big project I’m working on, some of which have wiki style pages. It’s so nice to be in a page and be able to snap a pic and have it drop right in. Some hand scribbled garbage? Go to the relavant page and choose insert picture, snap a pic in the moment and it drops right into the page and you can convert it to organized text later. Notion has to be up next as the hot tool.
