Another good site that offers unlimited randomly generated Wordles with customizable letter counts:

I thought the higher letter count ones were impossible at first, but they become enjoyable pretty quickly. You can also play a daily version here where the random seed is just set to the current YYYYMMDD.

I'm guessing there is just no indication?

If the word was BUTTS and you guessed TRAIL, the T would be yellow.

If you guess TOTAL, you'd have a yellow T in position 1 and a green T in position 3.

If you guess TACIT, you'd have 2 yellow Ts.

If you guess TITTY, the first T would be grey, and the second and third Ts would be green.
