my government agency rolled out edge to everyone because microsoft forced them to by ending support for IE, but they also accompanied it with an associated group policy that forces edge into internet explorer compatibility mode.

i use edge to read pdfs and also if i need to open a webpage when i'm sharing my screen for work so people won't see my horrifying browsing history when i type in an address it does these things adequately

its more adequate than any other browser. when you need to browse, use edge. also i really like that the passwords in edge sync to microsoft authenticator on ios.
