i cant stand ted lasso but for all mankind is incredible imo also just finished station 11, really loving good. I dont remember the book that well but i feel like there's a lot in the series that isnt in the book but it worked

I don't remember the book super well but it seems accurate to it. there are a couple of things that are different significantly, one paul's death is made into a much bigger deal. in the book he dies somewhat randomly on a quiet day, and that's sort of the point, showing the meaninglessness of the deaths in the way. two, the whole thing with the commander ordering a charge with minutes till 11AM isnt in the book and of course the book doesnt include the bits about the peace negotiations but overall i think it captured its spirit very well and i thought it was great

It made me cry even though I already knew how it ended i had no idea how it ended, i generally know nothing about the climbing world in general although i respect the hell out of the people who do it. I had a feeling he would die at the end just based on the insane stuff he was doing but it still was depressing as hell
