I had somehow forgotten that Lexi was Cassie's younger sister and not the other way around.

It does make me question the ages of everyone though. Lexi is the same cohort as Rue, and Rue's mom says that she is about to turn 18. Lexi says that Cassie is 400+ days older than her, so...should Cassie even still be in High School? LOL.

EDIT: Based on me turning 18 my senior year. So someone 400 days older than me would have to be a grade ahead.

I'd figure early 20's since he was pre-adolescent when his little brother showed up at their door.

Yeah that's what I thought initially too, but then him having a chaste little flirtation with Lexi made him seem a lot younger and her a lot older all of a sudden. I'd gotten the idea that her and Rue were supposed to be like 15-16 or so.

I think that may have been the intent in season 1 but there is only so much you can do to hide the true ages of Zendaya and Maude Apatow.

Zendaya is 25. Maude is 24, the same age as Sydney Sweeney and a year older than Angus Cloud (Fez) haha.

I swear I remember something in Fez's introduction in season one where Rue narrates that he got out of high school and then didn't do much with his life. So he's a little bit older than everyone else.

I can see Saved By The Bell getting away with continuing each season because the entire school year fails to graduate.

I’m way behind on Euphoria but reading the thread somewhat, so I’m excited to see which show’s Lexi did the most incomprehensible play.

Such a gloriously bad idea. I love that Apatow said she just channeled what she was like when she directed a play in high school. She’s a maniac.

Ignore my doomerism, I don't think better things are possible
I liked Elliots song at first, but it just kept going and going.

Overall I am ok with the finale. This was never a plot heavy show, so I don’t really care about any loose ends. This felt more like a series finale than season finale. There is nothing really urgent outstanding, and with Rue’s narration stating that she stayed clean for the rest of the school year, I’m not sure we need to return to this high school setting. Season 3 basically needs to be a massive departure from the current formula with a time skip to be worth making, or else this is a fine stopping point.

The show is much more impressive when you consider the head writer wrote this one handed because he was busy jerking off with his other hand (yes I stole that from Twitter, having just watched the final the joke isn’t wrong).

I'm pretty bad at watching TV was there a time skip where Rue got clean offscreen? Her mom was begging inpatient centers to take her. I think maybe it got jumbled up with the play?

Oh that was fantastic, the way the season played with the blurring of past and present and the way the play played out, particularly this episode where they're running into copies of themselves.

I loving love that one of the most popular TV shows right now is based around father son incest erotica. It's just absolutely loving insane, and it's just, like, one thing on this show.

So keen for the third season. It's going to be a whole new complete thing that's also going to be a sequel, just like this season decided to be when it didn't have to be, and this time by necessity. I'm super excited for it.

Lexi is a terrifying horror monster and we should all fear her.

I'd rather have a Gia special and an epilogue of what everyone did with their lives than a whole new season.

I truly cannot tell if this is a bad soap opera mess of a show that's occasionally accidentally really good (episode 5 of season 2, the Rue special), and really stylish (rotating hallway shot, dickpick presentation, detective Rue)

or if it's a good show with a point and a purpose that's just overly self-indulgent on pacing and musical numbers and Riverdale-level drama and is actually going to pay things off.
Oh, it's the first thing.

I guess I still kinda believe in these characters (except Cass and Kat who were completely new characters this season), but the finale really made it clear it's an aimless hodgepodge that will literally make you sit through five minutes of a man playing guitar.

The dramatics with Ash were very weird and took me out of everything. Got across some real tension in those moments, but this kid willing to go kamikaze jars so hard with what the rest of the show is, it was such an odd way to go.

What was Cal actually arrested for? Filming without consent? If it was the Jules video, she's going to be compelled to testify and that's kinda hosed up? I was kinda confused.

The ending scene with Ash & Fezco was ridiculous. Setting aside Ash's non-sensical last stand, Hadn't they cleared out all of the drugs of the apartment because of a previous drug raid? yet they left a small arsenal underneath the bed for rainy days? Why did Ash even attack the guy? How would he know it was a setup? And if he did, then why would his move be to stab the guy in the neck?

I'm guessing most of the people on the disks were underage.

The Fez storyline was pretty odd. Was definitely not expecting dramatic shootout with a kid. Maybe next season we'll get another flashback episode with Charmaine Bucco explaining why he's a psycho mute.

I no longer believe this show has long-term plot construction so I’m assuming they just dropped everything about Rue losing $10k worth of drugs from Laurie
