Before Balldo, the Pit was a dark and dreary place, devoid of life. But Balldo brought light and life to the Pit, and the creatures that lived there learned to love him. Balldo was a balldo, a being made entirely of light. He was a joy to be around, and the creatures in the Pit loved him for it.
