I understand being sick of clancy chat theorycrafting, but what I actually meant is, is the thread decontaminated from the mindset that we need a safe space to discuss EE matters pretending there's not a loving war just around the corner.

Without going into this to the level of American weirdness I’m basically half Russian. Having been the subject of ethnicity/religion based slurs for half my childhood I decided way back that I will never stoop down to the level of saying “ruski/ruscy”, which if you spoke casually about Russia with anyone in Poland is loving weird because what are you going to say, rosjanie? I’m having a bit of a breakdown now and I think it’s time to give in because *gently caress* man ww2 level warcrimes, which I explained to myself up to now as a thing one might do with the baggage of having to go through 5 years of war. Looks like all it takes is a week (if that) of things not going to plan in a special military operation

Ruski is pejorative but it’s used so often I don’t think it registers as such, applies both to people and language. Rosyjski/rosjanin is the proper term. It’s constructed in the same way that polack is, that is take a word from a foreign language and write it in your own.

There is literally 1, maybe 2 evs which can accommodate a 2+3 family, especially if you want to put proper kid car seats in the back. Not to mention the cost vs a 10 year old Volvo v70 I suppose I should have heeded the child free memo a few years back.

Any sort of stability on a governmental level in EE causes long term adverse effects to a much bigger extent than continuous strife, chaos and strained coalition making. To that effect Cinci, I think your guys are doing great and I wish them perpetual, tortured and fruitless effort.

Just unbelievable stuff, incessantly hammering it in public tv. 8. pis also doubles down on loving the loving pope, putting banners with him and his famous "do not be afraid" quote all over social media
