That's certainly a scenario you present, but the Real Life Scenario moana was describing is when a partner says "I want to move, this place doesn't fit my needs" at which point you either choose the house or the spouse It's common, and not a reason to avoid property ownership, but it's worth keeping in mind that if you're financially trapped in a house, you might have some limitations on your romantic life.
