Excited to see how much of a mess Jeff Probst Presents: Survivorball 2 manages to be. Though 41 managed to be fun despite itself so hopefully casting will manage to offset Jeff's twist kink again.

Lmao I want that entire "nerd crew" to be out as quickly as possible, so seeing Zach go quick is 1 of 3 down. This crew sadly seems a bit smarter with regards to game strategy than the last batch of idiots. No-one's making plans then immediately going off and telling those plans to everyone else. Yet.

Narcissus1916 posted:- Double bonus credit for not being afraid to show things like their mic packs or camera crews. my other reality TV love is The Challenge, and they've done everything to hide and outright edit away entire characters and plotlines. The Amazing Race was doing this more this season to, to the point of having a full aerial shot of a challenge on the last leg that showed the team's camera people. Then they also had a whole thing at the finish line to shoutout the crew. Wonder if it's a CBS thing.

If it’s causing Jeff pain they should definitely not change it back.

My favourite thing about the amulet as a macguffin design is it's ostensibly pitched as an alliance uniting thing, yet is designed to heavily encourage a 3-way backstab since the last one left with it will then have a hidden idol.

Survivor but set up like the early series' of UK Big Brother where the house was specifically designed to get someone to gently caress on live TV.

Narcissus1916 posted:Did they ever explain what happens if one of the three Beware Passphrase Idol holders is voted out? Are the other two totally hosed and lose their vote until merge? Or do they only need to now say two phrases? Or does the idol go back into play for someone else to discover? It goes back into play like any other hidden idol.

Thank god we got some truly abysmal play in this episode, who the gently caress says "I am willing to fold under the tiniest amount of pressure" at the start of a negotiation and is then shocked that the other person doesn't give them anything. Also thisTASTE THE PAIN!! posted:Chanelle not choosing to protect her vote, after openly stating to Omar that she absolutely cannot risk her vote on that night. Zero logic!

Reddit loves a dumbass and probably think he's playing some grand 4D chess game and isn't just an idiot who torched his entire game in under a second.

This is a guy whose first line in an attempt to save his ally was "I will fold under the slightest pressure". He's incredibly stupid.

The funniest bit was when Daniel said he was blindsided, no you weren't dude you knew you were likely done this time.

The first time Jonathan wins an individual immunity he’s going to have a target on his back visible from space.

Nihonniboku posted:How did the first one crash and burn It was in the very early days of Survivor, so no-one watched it and they made some properly baffling production decisions. Like reiterating the “fire represents life” part every 5 minutes (which gave plenty of scope for mockery in the press) and the cast just being overly friendly to the point of just accepting when it was their time to be voted out.

At this point Romeo could probably make final 3 just because everyone forgot he was there.

aidoru posted:Great episode but the funniest part by far was Romeo's early ep camera talk where he said "I'm playing this game super chill, under the radar." I enjoyed that they had that bit at the episode saying "hey Romeo's still here, he literally does loving nothing except pick at the rice pot" and then he was quickly and rightly forgotten again.

Maryanne holding onto her hidden idol so she could pull it out as supplementary evidence for playing a smart game was awesome, especially as everyone had seen Mike play his hidden idol for her which would confirm she hadn't told anyone. Very cool to see her basically come out of nowhere in the last stages of the game with some incredibly big moves and be able to back it up at final.
