Star Trek: The Motion Picture is a boring movie
Today is Apple's spring event. It starts in about an hour, 11am Pacific, 1pm Eastern.

Rumored products:

iPad Air refresh
iPhone SE refresh
New Apple display
27-inch iMac on Apple silicon
Mac studio. This is possibly a 'mini Mac Pro' or a 'pro Mac Mini'

MacOS 12.3 and iOS 15.4 will probably drop this week. Also expect new colors for watch bands and phone cases.

Sounds like this is just a warm up. Lots of rumors that Apple is going to go hard at the crown jewel of American sports, NFL streaming rights, next year.

What's up for grabs? Is Amazon's deal expiring? I can't imagine any of the big networks not renewing their deals.

DirecTV’s contract for Sunday Ticket expires after next season, and Apple, Amazon, and Disney (likely for ESPN+) are all expected to compete for it.

Oh poo poo. That's huge.

The old thunderbolt Apple Cinema Displays were $1000 and those haven't been sold in years. Surprised but not surprised by the price tag on those.
