Currently, SA of something awful LLC is making very few efforts to maximize revenue. As a partial non-owner, I'm very concerned if an activist hedge fund becomes aware of the moribund nature of the forums and the lack of cross-promotional synergizing that's occurring, they may try to take over the Board of Directors, and depose the current management, installing some corporate thugs who will ruin the forums by combining C-Spam and D&D, as well as other, darker, changes meant to drive "engagement". This is a thread where we can brainstorm ways that the current management can leverage their core competencies and increase fiscal profits, reinvesting into the profits cycle. My ideas: Pay per post. Mega Posting - pay a fee to string multiple posts together Vote magnification powers - pay to increase your voting power on the threads all important 1-5 purely objective rating scale. Please like, subscribe, and rate 5.

I’m seeing a lot of commodification but not a lot of gamification. What if we had SA bucks we could use to purchase some of those items, and we could buy them but also earn them through posting. 1 SA buck earned per empty quote of your post. 25 SA bucks earned if someone is probed when they reply to your post. Etc..
