VSC is a highly fraudulent "safety" feature and any decent honorable motorsport series would just do what they do at LM24 which is virtual pit lane sectors. Shocking and criminal that Formula "One" rejects these obvious steps.

There are sensors around the track and if an incident happens in one area, that area can be switched into virtual pit lane. So when the cars pass the sensors into that area, they have to be doing pit lane speed which is something very low like 30mph. If they're doing over 30, a sensor catches it and they get a fairly big penalty. Then when they exit that virtual pit area, they go back to normal racing. Makes everything very slow and safe in the incident area but allows the race to continue everywhere else. Very sensible and logical and reliable, as opposed to "driving to a delta" or whatever asinine contrived thing based on laptime math that F1 came up with just to be different from ACO/WEC. Which still allows for high corner speeds if the drivers want to do it -- I think -- which is dangerous and defeats the entire loving purpose of a "safety" mode to the race.

How so? I�ve been around race tracks enough to know race control doesn�t want any vehicle on track that they didn�t give specific permission to during a session. I�ve had tracks refuse me riding a moped around them even when sessions were closed and track was empty. It makes obvious sense to have tight control on what vehicles are cruising around.

Let's not forget Max's flagship chud performance, which was both on track and kind of off. I will recount:
- Ocon unlapped himself past Max in a race where Max was in the lead or somewhere very high up the order and not in danger of losing position
- Max furiously ran a highly aggressive maneuver to repass Ocon for no rational reason, which resulted in Max and Ocon colliding. Both of them either spun out or crashed out
- After the race Max physically shoved Ocon near the weigh-in
- After that Max called Ocon a p---y (do I have to censor that? I don't know how rules work). Max didn't do that in an angry emotional rant to one of his mechanics in the paddock, he did it in a press conference inside a quiet room sitting on a panel with other drivers talking to reporters.

As someone said, he's mellowed out a bit, he might deserve some credit for not keeping up that level of bullshit. But it shows that he was raised by a violent misogynist and works for alt-right Austrian oligarchs. I guess in his defense you could say he hasn't posted videos of himself assaulting women on his social medias? Bravo Max?
