I respect Tony for deciding to go back to the big silver plates for all the classic ROH titles. The newer ones are too busy and thin, and I hope they match that design for the newer titles.

I got invested pretty easily in Gresham, despite not having seen him before the first AEW/RoH PPV. Yet, it's hard to argue that I wouldn't rather see more than a dozen people from AEW alone lead a company over him. The angle he seemed to really want - trying to prove himself as the greatest technical wrestler in the world, and best ROH champion ever - would have required him to beat Bryan, Joe and Punk, and he sure isn't as immediately interesting as any of them.

Even though I knew it was unlikely, I was kind of hoping Moriarty was taking the title off of him on Rampage a couple of weeks ago.

Deeb is more over and should’ve won. :colbert:

At the very least Deeb shouldn't have lost so definitively. Those two have good chemistry and I would like to see more matches between the two. Now the only angle you could do for that is Deeb begrudgingly becoming Martinez's partner again, and then turning on her every time she wants a title shot, which would be hilarious.
