I realized I had to vouch for the validity of the term "demisexual" because it describes something - some people is - I definitely ain't And was actually really helpful in proactively, positively aiding communication between myself and potential partners. If they identified as demisexual upfront I could respect that and know we probably aren't gonna work as sex partners. All while being able to respect they know that about themselves.
