I reckon if you stopped reporting on it the shooters would have to do some other wacky thing to get attention  In the 1500s or some poo poo like that some people just started dancing in the streets in some kind of German place and danced themselves to death. Maybe if someone does that it catches on and america can be known as the place of wacky dancing idiots or something instead i dunno just spitballin here.

Americans take the idea of individual freedom so seriously and dogmatically that they'd rather swallow global conspiracy theories than cover their mouths while coughing. Any attempt at public good is swatted down as literally communism and people abandon their values as soon as they can cling to a corporation that offers them 40k/yr and health benefits. Its an incredibly alienating place to live and new mass shootings every week is a symptom of cultural bone-itis.

Someone brought up how Stephen Paddock (the Las Vegas shooter, and I had to go look up his name) was forgotten, well, wasn't it because they could find no motive at all? No writings, no recordings, nothing, he just seemed to lose his mind and decide he wanted to destroy as much of the world as possible before destroying himself? Did I miss something in regards to discovering WHY he did it, even if it's just theories?

Honestly the most significant thing from that was The Trump Bump Stock ban and the guys brother got arrested for Child porn and that was it.
