All of the rest of the names will be pulled from the hat. No other eggs are pipped right now, the big eggs are right on schedule. So there's a lull in hatching, I expect new pips late tonight or tomorrow morning.

eggs contain a lot of moisture and goop inside of them even after the yolk is mostly absorbed, the chick hatches very wet for a reason -- the ambient humidity increases as a result

The humidity spikes because a hot, wet chick has appeared, LOL. But taking out the shell seems to mitigate the high humidity.

Spork is doing great, she's an uppity Barred Rock maniac.

#23 & 29 have pipped! I opened the ReptiPro to add water, the kid held all 3 chicks while I repositioned those eggs to front & center in the incubator. I checked all of the other eggs, no other pips right now.

VVV Yeah, it went down for a bit, sorry.
As of 8:30AM PST, The 3 chicks are doing great, perky and active with no signs of any trouble. I showed them the water a couple of times and now they are drinking on their own. Pecking at food but not really interested in it yet, but they will be. 23 and 29 have progressed with unzipping, both are active and doing well. No new pips on other eggs right now.

^^^No, I'm keeping an eye on 29. She's still in draw-down, if I try and assist her now she'll bleed. She's okay, perky and peeping.

EDIT--Okay, 29 got less perky and is now at 31+ hours after pipping and should be hatching by now. I unzipped her a little more than halfway around and put her back, she can finish up the rest. There is a tiny amount of blood but she should be ok.
