if it makes you feel better this is true of everyone

hopefully this leads to a utopic future where no one has to work and individuals can create incredible works of art with AI assistance that would have only been possible with hundreds of millions of dollars in the past

the other option is the billionaires kill everyone else off because they no longer need a working class or people to generate their entertainment

can't wait for The Purge to happen because porn can be auto-generated

loving tech nerds ruin everything.

Part of the pleasure and satisfaction of making something, is well, actually making it. Instant gratification sounds good on paper, but having you vision realized instantly is going to feel hollow.

Real talk i can see it being used as a supplement for quickly conceptualizing a composition, but the whole reason art has value is because it takes skill and time, what are we left with when some BFA can crank out 100 picassos for his marketing manager?

When I'm writing my prompt to Midjourney, does applying a weight to a phrase like this:

isometric map::1.75 only apply the weight modifier to the word "map", or will it take into account the full phrase "isometric map"? If not, can applying parentheses around the phrase fix it, like so:

((isometric map))::1.75, <rest of the prompt>

applies to everything before it, also segments it as a new prompt

so

firefighter ::2
is different than

fire::2 fighter::2

Ah okay that makes sense. Thanks Tunicate!

I'm working on a logo illustration for one of my buddies, and wanted to use Midjourney to create quick iterations on my original drawing. Can anyone recommend how best to structure a prompt in Midjourney when I want it to make variations of a given image? It tends to go pretty far from what I've been giving it:

Original Image

Midjourney's Attempt

I'm also open to trying other apps if there's one better suited to what I want to do.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish, though? Just an anthro wolf with an eyepatch like that, no logo-ish elements?

Just from my experience, eyepatches is something MJ really struggles with.

It's unfinished, I've not landed on any other logo elements yet. Thanks for all the replies, I'll try out your suggestions and see what works
